These Terms and Conditions are designed to enjoy a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
It provides clarity and avoid any potential misunderstandings between our guests and Soha Voyage.

Booking & Payment Policy

The tour booking will be confirmed upon receiving the full payment.

Full payment is required prior to the processing of your visa for Bhutan.
-
Full payment must be made 20 days prior to departure date.
-
Failure to pay within this period may result in cancellation of the trip and some loss of your money, depending on the circumstances.

Visa & Travel Documentation

Soha Voyage Travel Agency will handle the visa application process on behalf of the client once all the documentation (passport copy, passport size photographs, personal details) and payment are received.

Clients are responsible for ensuring their passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of travel.
​
Cancellation and Refund Policy
​
Payment for the tour is a fundamental part of the tour’s income and contributes to the overall cost of equipment, running costs, staffing, administration, etc. As Soha Voyage will have incurred the majority of its costs before the tour starts, we need to impose cancellation charges to cover these costs.​ If you cancel your booking, we will impose cancellation charges as follows:

30 days or more prior to departure – 10% of tour cost

15-29 days before departure – 30% of tour cost

7-14 days before departure – 50% of tour cost
-
6 or fewer days before departure – 80% of tour cost
-
48 hours or fewer before departure – 100% of tour cost​

All cancellations must be in writing and be made by the person who submitted the booking.
Once the tour has started, no refund for any unused portion or part of the tour or services to be provided will be given. If you want to make any changes to the tour, or depart the tour early, such alteration or departure will be entirely at your own expense and liability.

Itinerary Changes

While we strive to provide the exact itinerary as planned, certain unforeseen circumstances (such as weather conditions, roadblocks, or government regulations) may necessitate changes to the schedule.

Soha Voyage reserves the right to make ajustements to the itinerary for the safety and convenience of the travelers.

Travel Insurance

The requirement for mandatory travel insurance was lifted on April 23, 2024.
-
However, it is recommended that all guests to Bhutan have travel insurance before visiting the Kingdom as a precaution in case of unforeseen situations.

Soha Voyage is not responsible for any loss or damage due to unforeseen events that affect the traveler's experience.

Health & Safety Requirements

All travelers must disclose any preexisting medical conditions before confirming the booking.

It is the travelers responsability to be in good health and physically prepared for the trip.

Soha Voyage is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur during the trip.

Liability & Responsability

Soha Voyage acts as a coordinator for various travel services (hotels, transportation and guide) and does not assume liability for any damage, loss, or accident caused by third-party providers.

Travelers are responsible for their behaviour and personal belongings during the tour.

Force Majeure

Soha Voyage shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation, or alterations to the itinerary caused by natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other forces beyond its control.

In such case, efforts will be made to provide alternative, but refund are not possible due to non-recoverable advance payments.

Code of Conduct

Travelers are expected to respect Bhutan's cultural norm, customs, and environmental laws.

Soha Voyage reserves the right to terminate a traveler's participation in the tour if they engage in inappropriate or disruptive behaviour.

​
Governing Law
​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Bhutan.
-
Any legal disputes must be solved in the juridiction of Bhutan.
